Zoom
If you want to record an online meeting, the first thing you need to do is sign into the Zoom web portal. After you do so, navigate to the Recording tab. The button will be labeled “Record” or “Share Content” depending on the recording quality you wish to achieve.
To begin recording a Webex meeting, open the microphone and adjust the frame rate and recording resolution. A menu bar appears in the lower left corner of the screen. Click on it to jump to the recording editing page. After recording, you can click the stop recording button and edit the video.
You can also record meetings by switching to a different screen layout. Using “Focus” when recording a meeting means that the screen recording only includes your participants and not other content. The best option is “Focus” if you are recording a meeting with no shared content. Alternatively, you can choose “Focus” if you only want to record the presentation. If the recording involves the presentation of documents or other shared content, choose “Focus with active speaker”.
Zoom’s built-in recording tool
If you want to record a Zoom online meeting, there are several ways you can do this. You can use the built-in recording tool in Zoom, or you can use a third-party screen recording application. Either way, it is important to have the meeting host’s permission to record the meeting.
